Every step forward should feel steady.
The right walker gives you confidence to move through your day — at home, at the store, wherever life takes you. We fit every walker to you before you leave our showroom.
We fit the walker to you — not the other way around.
Fitted before you leave
A walker that is the wrong height causes strain, not relief. We adjust every walker to your height and posture before you walk out the door. It takes five minutes and makes a real difference.
In stock, same day
Most walkers and rollators are available for same-day pickup from our Bridgeport showroom. No waiting for shipping. No prescription needed. Come in, get fitted, and go home with the right support today.
No pressure, no upsell
We will tell you honestly which model fits your situation — even if it is the least expensive one. Our goal is that you leave with something that actually helps, not something that collects dust in a corner.
Options for every need
Standard walkers, rollators with seats, heavy duty bariatric frames, and post-surgery knee walkers — we carry the full range. If you are not sure what you need, we will help you figure it out.
Rental when it makes sense
Recovering from surgery and only need support for a few weeks? Knee walkers are available for short-term rental with no long-term commitment. We will walk you through what makes the most sense financially.

We help you understand what may apply to your situation.
Some CT Medicaid programs may cover certain mobility aids depending on your eligibility and documentation. We work with these programs regularly and can help determine if you may qualify. Funding availability depends on your individual situation and program enrollment.
Various CT waiver programs may provide funding for mobility equipment. Eligibility depends on your program enrollment. We coordinate directly with your case manager to explore what may be available to you.
Most standard walkers and rollators are over-the-counter products — no prescription required. Purchase outright and take it home the same day. Knee walkers are also available for short-term rental at $100 per month plus tax, with no long-term commitment.
We accept CareCredit healthcare financing for flexible payment options. Ask us about current promotional terms when you call or visit our showroom.

When a Walker Alone Is Not Enough
A walker is a great first step — but sometimes the home itself needs attention too. If doorways are too narrow, grab bars are missing, or stairs have become a barrier, we can help with those as well. We look at the whole picture, not just the product.
If stairs have become a barrier, a stairlift or ramp may be the more important first step. If the bathroom is the main concern, grab bars and bath safety equipment can make a bigger difference than a walker alone. We will tell you honestly what we think — and point you in the right direction even if it is not a product we are selling today.

Answers before you call.
Do I need a prescription to buy a walker or rollator?
No prescription is required for most standard walkers and rollators. These are over-the-counter mobility aids you can purchase and take home the same day from our Bridgeport showroom. Knee walkers may require documentation depending on your funding situation — we can walk you through that at no charge.
Will insurance or CT Medicaid cover my walker?
Funding availability depends on your individual situation and program enrollment. Some CT Medicaid and waiver programs may cover certain mobility aids. Standard walkers and rollators are low-cost enough that many customers purchase them directly. We review your options at no charge during your free evaluation — just ask.
What is the difference between a walker and a rollator?
A standard walker has no wheels — you lift and place it with each step, which gives maximum stability. A rollator has four wheels, hand brakes, and a padded seat so you can rest when needed. Rollators are easier to move but require a bit more balance. Our specialists will help you find the right fit for your strength, balance, and daily routine.
Can I try a walker in your showroom before buying?
Absolutely. Our Bridgeport showroom is open Monday through Friday, 9AM to 5:30PM. No appointment is needed. We encourage you to come in, try different models, and let us adjust the height and fit before you leave. Getting the right fit matters — a poorly fitted walker can cause more strain, not less.
What is a knee walker and who is it for?
A knee walker is designed for people recovering from foot, ankle, or lower leg surgery or injury. Instead of putting weight on the affected foot, you rest your knee on a padded platform and steer with handlebars. It is far more comfortable than crutches for most people. We offer knee walkers for purchase and for short-term rental at $100 per month plus tax.
Can I rent a walker instead of buying?
Knee walkers are available for rental at $100 per month plus tax — no long-term commitment required. Standard walkers and rollators are priced affordably enough that most customers purchase them outright and take them home the same day. If you are unsure, just call us and we will help you figure out the most practical option for your situation.
What if I need a walker for a larger person?
We carry heavy duty and bariatric rollators rated up to 500 lb with wider frames and reinforced construction. If you are not sure which model fits your needs, our specialists will help you find the right match. Just call or stop by — we will make sure you leave with something that actually works for you.
How do I know if my walker is the right height?
A properly fitted walker should allow your elbows to bend at a comfortable angle — roughly 15 to 20 degrees — when your hands rest on the grips. If you are hunching over or reaching up, the height is off. We adjust every walker to fit you before you leave our showroom. If you bought elsewhere and something feels wrong, come in and we will check it at no charge.
